Erik Karlsson has turned his recent scoring slump into a distant memory. Karlsson had two assists in Ottawa Senators’ 5-2 win over the New York Islanders on Sunday, giving him 17 points in his last five games. In the five games before his hot streak, Karlsson a single goal. His two assists Sunday gave him 65 points and the record for most points in a season by a Senators’ defenseman.
